Admission Policy

 

This Policy applies to spaces that become available after all internal movement and program considerations have been completed. I.E. Outside spaces.

 

 

                   1.  Staff's children or Grandchildren

                   2.  Siblings of children currently enrolled in the centre.

                   3.  Children returning form leave of one year or less.

                   4.  PHCC and siblings of children in PHCC.

                   5.  Waiting list

 

Program considerations could affect any of the above priorities and, in certain circumstances the program coordinator must use her judgment in applying the above priorities.  This could include age of child, male/female ratios in the program, etc.

 

Leave of absences for children leaving and re-entering the programs cannot exceed one year. The new familial date for such children will be the original admission date minus the time period of the leave.
